Plain Clip Plug is a plugin for Spark, which removes any formatting from text which is on the clipboard. It is basically identical to Plain Clip, a freeware stand-alone application I wrote for the very same purpose. As Plain Clip is intended to be used with hotkey applications such as Spark, incorporating its functionality into a Spark plugin was a legitimate step. In contrast to the standalone application, the plugin edition offers an additional feature: it supports sending an emulated Command-V keystroke (in other words: "Paste") and can frankincense be used to create a "Paste unstyled" shortcut that should work anywhere where you can apply Command-V to introduce text from the clipboard. |
